🌐 Language Change — Avatr
Avatr is the Changan–Huawei–CATL joint venture, so its multimedia runs HarmonyOS with Changan-specific layers on top. That combination makes it one of the more involved localizations we do: the Huawei voice assistant, the HarmonyOS system apps and the Changan vehicle-settings menus each need separate handling rather than a single language switch. We translate the full interface, the ADAS and safety warnings and the charging screens, retrain the voice assistant, add wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and install Google Maps. The stock firmware image is kept so the work stays fully reversible.
