Li Auto is a Chinese brand specializing in EREVs (Extended Range Electric Vehicles) — hybrids with a large battery plus a generator engine. Essentially an EV, but with a gasoline generator as a "backup battery" for long trips. Strategy: families who want an EV without range anxiety.

Li Auto L6, L7, L8, L9 — family crossovers in different sizes (5-6-7 seats). L6 is compact, L9 is the flagship premium. Li Auto Mega is a minivan (MPV), a unique model for hauling 7-8 people with maximum comfort. All models use EREV architecture: 40-50 kWh battery + 1.5L gasoline generator.

Proprietary OS — Li OS, Android-based with deep modifications. Localization complexity sits between standard BYD and HarmonyOS models (AITO). Li Xiang voice assistant is sophisticated, needs separate setup for English/Arabic.
Feature — the fourth instrument panel (on L8, L9, Mega). A separate screen between driver and passenger for climate and media control by rear passengers. Needs separate localization.

Yes, fully. We translate the settings and voice commands: "Enable home mode for 3 hours", "Start movie time". Runs on battery for 6-8 hours.
Is L9 or Mega harder to localize because of screens?
Yes, Mega has 5 (front + rear + passenger). Takes 5-6 hours instead of 4. Cost is slightly higher.
Is CarPlay available?
Yes, wireless CarPlay works on all models after localization. Android Auto too.
