Leapmotor is a Chinese EV maker famous for its Stellantis partnership (owner of Peugeot, Fiat, Jeep, Chrysler). In 2023 Stellantis acquired 20% of Leapmotor and launched joint European exports. This makes Leapmotor one of the most accessible Chinese brands for post-service — even outside China there are Stellantis partners for warranty work.

Why Leapmotor is the easiest localization
Leapmotor uses standard Android with minimal customization. Google services install directly (no compatibility layer needed like HarmonyOS). CarPlay and Android Auto activate in one click after unlock. Voice assistant is based on open components and easily retrained to English.
Because of this, Leapmotor localization is the cheapest among premium models: **250-400 USD for the full package** (for comparison, AITO — from 500 USD). Work time — 2-4 hours for any model.
The Stellantis partnership matters
Stellantis owns 20% of Leapmotor and jointly exports cars to Europe under the Leapmotor International brand (Leapmotor T03 is sold in Spain, Germany, Italy). This gives us access to international documentation — many diagnostic errors are already described in European service manuals.
For owners this means: if you have a Chinese Leapmotor and live in Europe or UAE — you can theoretically get warranty service through Stellantis dealers (Peugeot, Fiat), though not all operations will be covered. We localize so a Stellantis dealer can see all service logs in the standard format.
